How it all began…

Thomas and Charlotte met through the popular dating app - Hinge (yes, those apps really do work!). After many conversations, Thomas decided it was time to meet in person. Charlotte, however, did not make this easy for him. After turning him down a few times due to a busy work schedule and a number of social commitments, Charlotte finally committed to a date and time to meet.
Thomas’ plan to have a romantic sunny picnic in Hyde Park was bulldozed due to a severe hangover Charlotte was nursing (her summer work party the night before was to blame). As she didn’t feel like she could cancel on him again, she suggested finding a bar near her flat so she didn’t have to brave the warm, sticky tube in her fragile state.
So finally on the 26th of July 2019, Charlotte and Thomas met at WC, a small, underground & atmospheric wine bar by Clapham Common.
The connection was instant, and they immediately began spending a lot of time together. Queue Covid... After attempting to spend lockdown alone in his one-bed London flat, Thomas quickly realised that the countryside may be a better option.
So for 4 months, Thomas braved isolation with Charlotte and her family….. and their relationship just got stronger.
Following this, they shortly moved in together and welcomed the one and only Santie into their family…

And the rest is history…
5 years later, on a cold November day (the 25th to be precise), Charlotte & Thomas decided to take the day trip to Whitstable they had always planned. Beachside walks, Oysters, and Champagne…what more could you want? An engagement ring, apparently! Halfway through their walk, Thomas got down on one knee with Santie beside him and finally popped the question!
